I still think you are envious. What you want to see is a country
where no one is rich. Where everyone works hard and no one gets
ahead. The people will not rise up and overthrow the government as
long as they have opportunities.

Taxes aren't the only thing at an all time low.
Class mobility has rarely been lower than it is today, Dan.
Income disparity, on the other hand is even greater today than it was in
1929.

All of these go hand in hand.



Exactly. And these kinds of things happen every time the conservative
philosophy prevails in the country. It's the pendulum swinging away from
the government doing what's good for the people and over to doing what's
good for business and wealth. Every time that happens it's the majority
who suffers.
