Default Honeywell Thermostat 2300B vs 2310B temp differences

Lowes sells the 2310B for 40, HD sells the 2300B for 25.

Both seem to do about the same thing, the 2300 actually has a one
button "HOLD" whereas the 2310 you have to remember or look-up what to
do.

However, the 2310 seems to be more responsive -- meaning --

This AM.. it was 60.. both showed 60 at the start. The 2310 showed a
warmer temp sooner than the 2300, but they did eventually both settle
out at 69 (desired temp). At times, the 2310 would be 2 degrees
higher (69 vs 67).

I really figured the temp sensor on these would be the same (same on
all Honeywell's for that matter), but something does seem to be
different. The 2300 is the one wired to the furnace now, the 2310
just sitting next to it.

Any thoughts on which is the "better" one? The 2310 just seems to be
more sensitive, which in theory might suggest a smaller temperature
swing range???
