In some Usenet groups it's _only_ possible to have a group discussion
when you kill-file half the posters. I'm amazed if I check some groups
on Google Groups versus using my newsreader with elaborate filters and
anti-spam.

This is a pretty good group actually. I have no filters for it. For a
group like ba.broadcast, without filters the group would be unreadable.
