Default Liberals/Progressive fear Sarah Palin ... she's better man than they are.

If Palin is such an idiot, why do the Democrats try and tear her
down so much? Why do they react so viscously when ever she is
mentioned?

Pointing out and laughing at her assorted idiocies, hypocrisies and
failings only seems vicious because it naturally highlights her glaring
incompetence and obvious unsuitability for any position of high
responsibility. It is nature itself that has been cruel to Ms. Palin by
saddling her with these shortcomings. Pointing them out and laughing at
them is, at worst, merely unkind.

N.B.: "Vicious" means barbarous or cruel, and "viscous" means sticky or
gummy. Spellcheck often gives you one when you intend the other.

If she really was the idiot the Democrats believe she is,
they would love nothing more than to have the Republicans pick her as
the next candidate.

As has been pointed out here many times by many posters, we would indeed
love nothing more than to have Ms. Palin as either the Republican standard
bearer or as a third party candidate in 2012.

OTOH, the Democrats already know what happens when you run someone
who is telegenic but a joke. Barak Obama, the man with no experience,
but he looked good on camera.

The only "experience" really relevant to the Presidency is life. One's
character, intelligence, education, life experiences and innate leadership
qualities have to carry a president through. Senate or Congressional
experience seems to help a bit with the federal-level bureaucracy and
politics, being a state governor really isn't the same or even very
relevant, and military or corporate leadership doesn't translate at all.

Being a citizen doesn't get you any bonus points, either.
