My friend had his Gibson A/C air handler shut off on him this weekend
due to a clogged condensate water drain pipe. Luckily it had a "Safe-T-
Switch" so that the backed up water in the drip pan didn't leak into
the house.
I helped him unclog the pipe and flush out all the mold/mildew/fungus.
We took pictures of the process and created a quick guide for others
who may be having the same problem. The procedure should be very
similar for other air handler units from popular manufacturers such as
Trane, GE, Mars, Rheem and Carrier.
