Basically.... you'll be running 3X the plate load resistance.
So, you'll have to change the plate transformer.


** ******** you will.


You could look
for one with 5K load, or.... if you have a 16 ohm output on the
current transformer, you might try loading THAT with the 8 Ohm
speaker.

** The worst possible thing to do.
