Just like 'green' cars, the costs to the environment far exceed

As to magnets picking up fillings, neat trick since they are
non-magnetic: shows just how well thought out this bit of swill really

Most metals are pretty good conductors, thus you can pick up most any
metal using electromagnets. Similar to how a squirrel cage motor works.


Have you ever actually tried this with, say, aluminum or stainless?
