About a teacupful, at a guess. Fill the cup, throw away, add teabag,
refill. That's halved the efficiency for a start!

But my flat plate kettle self descales (water is only _fairly_ hard) and
I remember the Corvette. And the thing we had at work for 6 months or
so. And the once-a-week descale for the smart coffee machine.

Oh, and that's enough money to take her on a _really_ nice short break
somewhere...
