Default Kenmore dryer. Flame goes out after a few minutes and will not reignite.

solenoid windings and they are good. Any ideas?

The valve coils are defective. They're fine when cold but fail once
they warm up.

Yep.

Here's a how-to

I replaced the coils and that fixed it. I must say that it wasn't very easy
to get to or remove the screws that secure the coils in place. Why use
Phillips screws when you can get much more torque on a hex screw?

Thanks for your reply.
