Dude, it was YOU who started this, using Giunta as a political
statement. Would it surprise you to learn that he not only voted for
Obama, but promised to do so again in 2012?

If that is the case, It goes to prove Bravery and Intelligence do
not necessarily *go together. :-)

Not to take anything away from Giunta (he is most certainly a guy I
would want by my side), nor to give any creedance to your insinuation
about Obama supporters - smiley or not - but in many cases acts of
bravery are simply the result of the actor being too stupid (or
unaware) to be afraid.

I've heard that one definition of "courage" is when you're terrified,
but do the right thing anyway.
