Some of us know enough mathematics that a poll says what the
poll taker / analyst wants it to say. Lets see, the poll was
in Berkley, Chicago and .... how about the off track major
research centers - high energy, alternate energy and pure science
types.
one - we know where the grants come from.

Let's look at what the Pew Poll reported in slightly more detail:
"Most scientists identify as Democrats (55%), while 32% identify as
independents and just 6% say they are Republicans."
Some, like scientists, might wish to look at the poll rather than
accept a pre-digested partisan opinion of what it says and means.
