quick disconnect bayonet at the end.

think it should be on rigid piework, don't forget about the ventilation
Why? Our present gas hob (electric oven) uses a flexi pipe and our free
standing oven (2 ovens ago) had a flexi to feed it. It makes them so much
easier to install and when needed, to service.

if your gas hob is on a flexi, and not rigid then it's not fixed to regs.
