I was very very surprised by how SMALL the bomb bay was. One couldnt
get very much in there

One of the minor details of the B-25 was that it could be gotten
into the air with only a pilot. This fact I learned back in 66/67
when they were filming a war movie on Oahu. During the filing, one
night, the pilot got a little drunk, and went to the airport, fired up
the B-25 and proceeded to buzz Honolulu and area for a couple hours.
It was on the front page of the Star Bulletin. I do believe he
probably had a chance to spend some time sleeping it off in the local
hoosegow.
