Is there enough chlorine in pool water to harm grass or shrubs? Are
there any other possible perils? I don't want to start a feud unless
there's the potential for actual harm.

I used to connect the discharge of my hottub to a sprinkler and water the lawn
when I emptied it without any harm. I'm sure such discharges are illegal most
places in the US.
