If you say selected by his Daddy's appointees, no. If it were
actually a case of The People having elected him in a fair and honest
vote that would be fine because that is democracy in action. That is
not, however, what happened. The right wing stole both elections for
Bush. They would have done the same for McCain but it was such a
landslide they never could have gotten away with it without a military
coup, and you can bet your last can of beans that plan was in the
works.
