The country was on the brink of financial disaster during the Bush
administration. Since then, we've managed to at least avoid a melt down and
there have been some small improvements.

We have, you just need to move to a different part of the country (such
as Texas) to see them. It's abundantly clear that the economic recovery
has been occurring in some states and not others.


The process has been a series of steps downward. And we are NOT in the
basement yet.
