Yeah. It harkens back to the early industrial revolution when steam
was king. Look at the size of that flywheel. Massive piece of
equipment.

I was impressed with the two beam engines at Kew Bridge, 80" and 100"
cylinders (IIRC) A very interesting place to spend a day.
Did you notice the steam powered jacking gear at the beginning? Never
occurred to me that they would have to do that.
