Does the passage of time change the FACT that General Electric
polluted the Hudson River, and has lined the pockets of enough
politicians to assure that they'll never have to clean up the mess?

Who has been doing it for the past couple years? * For all the
complaining GE has been doing, I though it was on their dime.

More likely it's our dime, via Superfund money, not all of which is funded
by the criminals as far as I know.

OK- Forgetting the fact that when they did it, few folks thought there
was anything wrong with the PCBs-- *Here is GEs blurb saying they've
spent over $1billion on cleanups. [probably a few hundred million of
that is lawyers fighting against doing it]http://www.ge.com/news/our_viewpoints/hudson_river_cleanup.html

Your turn. * How much am I paying? *And why is GE being held
responsible for doing something that wasn't illegal or even immoral at
the time?

For some reason the USA is always the last advanced economy to
recognise the angers of many evironmental hazards. Long after
Europe. I include PCBs , Asbestos, Noxs, CFCs and low level ozone.
Could it be commercial reasons and the average American can go hang?
