Default Grease gun

If you want to load a grease gun from a barrel of grease, its easy to expel
the air...load it by hand..yes get your hands greasy, pack it in like you
would pack a wheel bearing with grease. Stick a narrow stick down to remove
what air you can. (circular motion) Then place the cap on and pull and push
the plunger back and forth. Make certain the plunger is locked out and open
cap, add more grease and repeat if necessary ...Once you do this it becomes
second nature.

I just bought a Plews mini grease gun that takes 3 ounce cartridges. Can
it be loaded with bulk grease instead of using those expensive little
cartridges? (Yes, I'm a cheapskate. Tell me something I don't know.) The
instructions don't say anything about it, and I don't see a good way to
bleed the air out. Thanks.

just reload the cartridges by hand then use them.
