Default It was so hot (How Hot Was it?") was The Law and G-Codes foran AK47 was Is there any public library of G-codes

How about gore undergarments - e.g. auto wicking cloth.

Martin - hot here - it was 78 at 79%RH here the other morning and
it is hard to live in. Sun gets over the trees and temp rises to 90's
and RH drops to 3-5%.

The bad days here are when the temp goes high and so does the RH.

Dew is very heavy and Fog. Burns off by 8am and then look out.

But..its a DRY heat.

Ours is a dry heat. Yours is an arid, frackin' OVEN.

My friends and I used to head to Lake Havasu on Labor, Independence,
and Memorial Days. For the latter, it was always at least 120F, but
the thermometer on a bar wall said 139 one year. That was a dry Hell.
Ugh! To stay cool, we figured on one case of beer per day per person,
and as many dips in the Colorado River as possible.

On July 8th, I happily celebrated my 25th anniversary away from that
drunken life. And while I miss the boat 'n bikiniless babe trips, I
don't tolerate that kind of heat now nearly as well as I did. You (and
the Chemehuevi Indians) can have it, thanks.

The indians are all sitting in their air conditioned casinos racking in
the cash.

Im out welding. Shrug

Well, it's not like you're doing something like blacksmithing, or
casting bronze.

I really need to find some sort of Leathers that are mesh....might make
the sweat evaporate better.....

Knew a guy who was stationed in the So Pacific during the War. One
of those island, where it was hot all the time. But that was okay, he
worked inside. In the Bakery. Next to the ovens.
Came home to Portland Oregon, which was having a 'heat wave'. All
the way up into the 80's. People in their light weight summer suits&
dresses - him in his Peacoat because it wascold!

Then there is the story of Pt Barrow, Alaska. Where the heat wave
on summer sent the temps all the way to up 60 degrees. Everybody just
flaked out - way too hot to work. (Of course, in the winter it gets
to 40 below. "But it's a dry cold.")

One could not be a successful Leftwinger without realizing that,
in contrast to the popular conception supported by newspapers
and mothers of Leftwingers, a goodly number of Leftwingers are
not only narrow-minded and dull, but also just stupid.
