Sounds like a perfectly reasonable question to me. People may have
solved a similar problem or had bad experiences with a system. And there
are about 2.5 locksmiths that hag out here.

Another newsgroup is alt.locksmithing. It is pretty dead, but many of
the regulars appear to still look in.
