It's 7018, which runs quite fluid so I'd say more than a little cold.
Picky picky, I don't doubt that it'll suffice.


I used about 120 amps. I might have had the arc too short.

Was the photo with the ground clamp the first weld?

It'd take me a few minutes to figure out current and rod speed. It's
been years since I've run 7018. 120 amps sounds like the right
ballpark for 1/8" rod, but truth is in the sound and the puddle.
