I don't have enough experience (does anyone?) to comment on the longevity of
the newer pressure treatment chemicals, but I can say that in my part of
the USA (Baltimore Maryland) a good quality CCA treated post outlasts 2 or
3 sets of cedar fence pickets or cedar panels.
