I am looking to buy one, in very good to mint condition.
Recently bought a Powermatic mill, and it needs a mate.
I'm in N Texas

Have you ever used the Craig's list search program to look for
something? It is:
http://www.searchtempest.com/
.
I just looked for "powermatic lathe" and found many listings for
powermatic, including one for a metalworking lathe, Maybe this will
help with your search.
I did that last night, saw the one in Maine.
I emailed the seller to see if he wanted to ship.
Price was right, I could pay some shipping at that price.
But I doubt they will ship.
