Why?

The wrong way is to use a domain you don't have
permission/authority to use... thereby causing mail
servers to deal with a lot of Usenet generated spam.

A right way is to use the .invalid top level domain
because the mail doesn't actually go anywhere. You
infringe on nobody's servers.
