I only cut dovetails once in a blue moon

You missed that opportunity yesterday. Should have asked Santa to
bring you 1 or 2 saws.

I have a few fine toothed pull saws for that purpose, but I use the
router more often. Pull saws work fine for me, especially for large
dovetails.
