Sorry for the huge link.
Doesn't seem to work. You could try using http://www.tinyurl.com/ or
a similar service in future.
Description is "MacAllister Double Bevel Slide Compound Mitre Saw
(L)305mm 1800W"
does the 305mm relate to the diameter of the saw blade?
Yes.
Does anyone know the arbour size most likely for this model?
Thanks
MacAllister stuff used to be rebadged GMC. Dunno if that's still the
case. Is it this one?

Before you buy MacAllister, it's worth considering that outside
guarantee, it's be virtually impossible to get spares.
Try here Mike http://tinyurl.com/ykxdlp2
Very curious that the OP is posting as GMC who are as you say most
likely to be the source of the saw. Troll perhaps???
Bob
LOL, sorry to dissapoint and well spotted, GMC are my initials
The link you posted is the saw that I have (though I have the B&Q
McAllister model as linked(!) to). I am going to use it to cut some
kitchen pelmet so felt that I should upgrade the blade to a finer model,
this is the one that i had picked out from toolstation...

Does that blade look like it would suit? It has converter rings for
various arbour sizes...
Cheers
