Aye, they gave me one of the new ones a few years back as well. Damn
thing just blinks and shows numbers, but ain't got no spinny wheel to
give me a visual of my consumption.

my meter(Orlando,Progress Energy) has the digital readout,is read by
short-range radio,and still has the spinning wheel.
