Main advantage might be the lack of 'kick back' in certain cutting
situations? Other?

Also:
BTW what about that 'undercutting' reciprocating gadget; enables one
to cut close to floor or to cut apertures into, say a wall, etc. Looks
like be OK if one was doing flooring? But how robust?
