One thing you don't want in a dryer vent is "shiny metal." Very
dangerous. The reflections from it could cause your chest freezer to
defrost, spoiling the venison and possum in there. Go to a real
appliance store, not the big box, and ask for a "woven celery" dryer
vent hose. They're really the best.
