The nice new uroregulation that makes builders fit fittings you can't
put normal lights in and can't find shades to fit. It is called
progress (and furious lobbying and purchasing of eurocrats and uroMP's
by Osram and others.).

Are you sure you got the right lamp? In the interests of
uroharmonisation they come in both 4 and 2 pin versions which are of
course incompatible.

You might be better off fitting a standard holder and getting the
urosubsidised standard CFL lamps for 10p each or whatever they are
being given away for at the moment.
