If you can catch it, or the re-run, be sure to see Steve Wynn (Vegas
Casino Owner) on Fox News Sunday, and his comments on the economy.

He was on "60 Minutes" back in July. Here is a link to it.

Pity about making his living from other people's despair, though.

Nobody sits out in front of his casino with a gun forcing patrons in.

Try not paying your government what they think they are owed and see who
it is living off of people's despair.

Try not paying a casino a debt and you wont see much of anything very
much longer.

Ah, but the Casino debt was one VOLUNTARILY entered into.

When professionals use psychologists and advertizing and architects
and electronics and alcohol to predictably separate compulsive
gamblers from their assets, it's not exactly "voluntary." The "Win!
Win! Feel the Rush!" billboards along the interstates leading into
Nevada are clearly false advertising. They should say "chances are
overwhelming that we'll win and you'll lose and you'll go home hung
over, broke, and depressed."

Anyone that thinks that those giant hotel were built by giving away
money is a moron. Anyone that thinks they are going to leave with more
money than they came with....is a moron. I don't buy into all this
victim mentality crap. I don't blame guns for crime, drugs for drug
abuse, or casinos for gamblers. The odds are spelled out for all to
see.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of Chinese faces on those billboards,
and even Chinese writing. They have figured out that Chinese people,
for one reason or another, are especially good hunting.

You go for where the money is.

Government used to think that gambling was bad for society, until they
realized that they could cash in, too.

We have met the enemy and it is us.
Welcome to a (somewhat) free country. Where the ability to make your
own decisions is still (mostly) allowed, even if they are 'bad'
decisions.
