It sounds more like he's trying to keep himself employed, out of trouble
with the IRS and the law, and married. d8-)

Have you ever been dragged into court over something you've said on a
newsgroup? I have. I was hauled in as a witness in a half-million-dollar
lawsuit four years ago (I wasn't being sued; my former employer was), and
two messages I posted here about eight years ago became pivotal in the suit.
I sweated it, and I was *really* glad that I'm not a bull****ter, like some
of the folks here. Truth became the issue, and what I had said was truthful.
(The case was thrown out after four days of testimony, FWIW).

But truthfulness sometimes isn't enough -- especially when the truth isn't
pretty.

In cases like that, the first thing lawyers do today is to sit their
paralegals down in front of computers and send them to Google with a list of
all of the variations of your name and aliases -- your nyms, etc. I had
really made it simple for them in that regard. g
