Presidential Records Act was established after abuses of Republican
administration of Richard Nixon, and attempts to destroy or conceal
evidence of their wrongdoings.

It requires that all communications of the US President are properly
recorded and records preserved.

These communication, nowadays, include Presidential communications in
public media, such as MySpace.

Since the Administration is required to archive those communications,
they are soliciting offers to implement an electronic archival system.
