A fine example of Obaminomics in play. The premise is that the sales tax
and increased registration fees will "offset" the $4,500 credit.

Where are the data for the increase in registration fees? There isn't
all that much difference to register a small car vs. a large one here in
Wisconsin.

Let's consider sales tax of 10% on a 25,000 vehicle. That's 2,500. Whole
lot of registration fees to make up the additional 2,000. 15 years at
$60 per year is $900. These vehicles had better well make it to 20 years...

Metalworking is the celebration of empirical data, not wishful thinking.
