No but they have caused quite serious reliability problems.


Then learn about endurance of consumer grade FLASH memory.


Which is fine as long as its not written to often. So fine for storing
system params: Less so as hard drive replacements.


Nor in some MP3 players.

I could also mention the Xbox debacle.
