It takes true hubris to post spam and in it request that no one
sends you spam. I hope millions of other spammers send you spam,
as that is what spammers deserve.

Yes. Content, motive, or the attributes of the sender are
irrelevant. The only thing that defines spam is "consent" (or rather
the lack thereof).

Yo, dudes, I have written to Google concerning this. If Google says
don't do it anymore, then I will abide by their rules. If Google says
it's OK, what a bummer for you guys, huh?
No bummer, just amusement. Many people accessing Usenet
through traditional news servers simply killfile anything
coming from Google Groups. You're being teased because
of a breach in Usenet etiquette. This is a discussion
group and advertising in it is considered farting loudly
in church. Personally, I'm not bothered, the reaction of
those who are, is entertaining to me. Getting angry at you
would be the equivalent of slapping a three year old for
shouting "I gotta go potty!" in the middle of a crowded
restaurant. Don't worry, you'll learn.

Believe me, if you post in the correct group, people
will seek you out. Do a little searching and you'll
find a forum for those who provide CAD services. I'm
sure there is a CAD discussion group where you can
discuss all aspects of CAD with other folks in the
business and your tag line can contain your E-mail
address and name and location. People will see it and
contact you. If you setup a website with your business,
include the URL and people will go to it. You could
post here when someone brings up CAD, answer a question
and have a "short" reference to your business at the
end of your post inviting the questioner to E-mail you.
I doubt anyone would castigate you for that.

Thanks, I appreciate your decent reply. Out of 17 reply's, there are
only two of you that have said something decent.

I really did not know, what I was doing was going to stir up so much
HATRED. All these people have jumped on me, and for what? Just
because I wrote something they call Spam? Perhaps they don't need
work, but I do! I thought this would be a good place to find it. Was
I wrong! All I found was a bunch of you know what's.

Well, I've learned my lesson....the hard way.
