Default American Standard Faucet Problem

On 5/7/2009 2:42 PM professorpaul spake thus:

Taking it apart shouldn't be that hard. Get some silicon grease, and
grease things up good -- seals, and threads. That should do the trick.

Or just use good old-fashioned plumber's grease. It's made to withstand
hot water. I have a little tin of it like a lip-balm tin that's lasted
me for about 25 years now.
