It was not always that way in Cape Coral.

Homes built just after the "new" CC bridge was built, the Sanibel
Causeway was built (Ferry closed), homes were built by hard working
men. I was a kid in those days. The only route to (what is now CC) was
across the Edison Bridge (history on the bridge).

Those were the days sigh.
