I've not had any of those troubles with a cheap laser.

As I said, "very few people will pay the price of a good printer" add
your name to the list of those that wont.

Do yourself a favour and avoid inkjets though, too much time wasted on
those.

And on "cheap" lasers.

My "inexpensive" £50 Samsung has given faultless service. The only
problem is the toner cartridges cost as much as the printer did, but
they are no more expensive than many other brands' cartridges.
