b) Are heavily into smoking certain herbal substances

If the answer is "a", there are finishes made for salad bowls that will
work, or just plain mineral oil from the drug store.

If the answer is "b", roll another and enjoy the board as it is in the
natural state. Embrace it for what it is and don't try to change it. Can
you feel the love?
