Well, when one of the kids chipped my wife's prized pressed-glass plate
I was able to repair it with glassbond by painstakingly collecting the
flakes of glass and glueing them in the correct order. The repair is
just about invisible.

I think it's also what the British Museum used to re-assemble the
Portland vase.

Aha - and there was me thinking they'd used portland cement. :-)
