If you go to a specialist worktop supplier (back in the UK I used
Stantons, Weybridge) they will offer you a choice of hundreds of
colours (about 20 varieties of black in my case). Trouble is you
would have to buy a full length, which would not be cheap, but if
you're not too fussed about the particular shade, you might well
get an offcut for less.

Alternatively ask on Freecycle, as someone may have a left over.
