I think it's a yuppie thing. My Dad runs them over with the lawn mower, and
leaves them to rot. This gives my mom fits, she doesn't like the colorful
front lawn.

I run mine over with the mower, and been doing so for 15 years or so. No
complaints from the neighbors.
