I've been thinking of building a elevated deer stand for gun and bow hunting. About 5-6'
off the ground. I can come up with something fairly mundane that is going to work but I'd
like to hear about any interesting tweeks the deer hunters have incorporated into the
typical 6x6 or 4x6 stand.

This will be on private land. I'm tired of freezing my arse off in improvised ground
blinds.
