I used a plain white IKEA cupboard door. It has rolled edges like
a thinner version of a kitchen worktop. The pictures on the IKEA
website are too poor to see which it was, but it might have

If you are cutting down the length, then one end will lose its
sealed finished edge.

It cost £1 from the damaged corner, but even a new one would
cost only £9.
