Preventing rabbits from chewing on outdoor wires
I have several outdoor garden lights that have failed where I can
trace a break in the underground wiring. The house is in the las vegas
area, where there are packs of rabbits that roam around at night in
the summer. I have heard that rabbits are drawn to the frequency of
the hum in outdoor electrical, dig them up and chew on them (still
safe @ 12v). I plan to rewire sections of the outdoor lighting grid
and I want to prevent rabbits (or any other animal) from chewing on
the them and breaking the circuit.
Any ideas?
Thanks
