as opposed to digital SLRs. With a good digital SLR you may do better.


I would not want to keep a digital camera beyond 5 years. 5 years
means two generations of cameras.


Well ... the D-300 which I want to replace it with is too
expensive to get at this particular time. The D-300 will allow auto
exposure to work with the older Nikon F lenses without a chip in them.
At present, I have to use either another lens to measure the light, or a
hand-held light meter like in the old days. :-)
