Not to be argumentative. I think under cabinet lighting gives a nice
accent, but properly placed recessed lighting over the counter area will
perfectly illuminate the entire working surface of the countertop




We have 12 recessed fixtures in a fairly small kitchen. They are no
substitute for under cabinet lighting especially as you get older.
