No offence but for one thing, 16' wide doors are not meant to be held in the
up position for long periods of time.

Second thing, I don't know where you live, but no matter, I wouldn't ever
use an uninsulated door anywhere I lived. I have two 10'x10' insulated
overhead doors and it keep the heat out, where I live, and sound.

But you could always apply an overlay to a good door. Therefore, you get
the best of both worlds.
